The best choice for new credit card holders
What have I been busy this past few months? Let me tick of the list. Well, aside from window and online shopping (which I’ve only been doing during my free time, honest!), I’ve been spending some time convincing my dad to get a new license, and a credit card. Will someone please tell him that it’s normal for someone my age to OWN a car?!
Well, I haven’t had much luck with the car (YET), but I swear: I will have my car. Meanwhile, in between my wooing him and convincing him of my great need, he’s been explaining to me all the mechanics of credit cards. Okay, I admit I’m doing this partly in the hopes that he’d see this as a responsible act on my part, but also because I got to thinking that it won’t be long before I’d actually be needing one.
I think my nodding and occasional uh-huhs to his explanation weren’t enough ?C because dad made me sit down and do some research (as if I don’t have enough at school). And for once, dad’s being a lawyer / I-want-the-details-kind-of-guy didn’t sound cool anymore. SIGH. The assignment: find a decent credit card ?C perhaps I should visit the chase credit card application site and see if it fits my needs.
I would’ve sat for hours if Jamie (thanks a bunch!) hadn’t told me about chase credit cards, which her parents are apparently using. And I figured that if it was good enough for her parents, it might be good for my dad too. And boy was I right! I think dad liked what I found out even if he didn’t show it. I think I shall have my car soon.
